Core Competencies

Verbal Expression

Elocution Training: Hone your pronunciation, intonation, and pace to make your expression clear and captivating. Master proper breathing techniques to avoid speaking too quickly or slowly.
Vocabulary Building: Expand your vocabulary to enhance the precision and diversity of your expression. Integrate new words into daily communication through reading and practice.

Communication Skills

Listening Skills: Learn to listen to others and understand different perspectives. Stay focused, think actively, and ask questions at the right time.
Interaction Skills: Develop the ability to interact with the audience and guests to make the program more interesting. Be skilled at guiding audience participation and energizing the atmosphere when needed.

Stage Presence

Body Language: Learn how to use body language—such as eye contact, gestures, facial expressions, and posture—to enhance your expressive impact and boost your stage charisma.
Emotional Control: Master emotional management in various situations to maintain confidence and composure. Respond calmly even when faced with unexpected events.

Rhythm Control: Mastering the Soul of the Stage

Time Management

Apply the 3-5-7 Principle: Capture the audience in the first 3 minutes, deliver core content in 5, and conclude within 7. Use timers and cue cards, and reserve a 10% buffer for unexpected situations.

Smooth Transitions

Utilize four major transition techniques: Summarizing, Guiding Questions, Scene Shifting, and Story Bridging. Ensure each transition is natural, smooth, and under 15 seconds.

Vocal Variety

Master the six elements of vocal variety (high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft). Emphasize key words, raise your pitch for excitement, and quicken your pace for tension. Vary your tone every 3-5 minutes to prevent listener fatigue.

Pacing Control

Adopt the ‘Pause and Pace‘ rule: Pause briefly before key points, at transitions, and after emphasis. Maintain a pace of 180-200 words per minute for fast segments, and slow down to 100-120 for core content.

Public Speaking and Improvisation

Public Speaking:
A successful speech is the cornerstone of becoming a great host.

  • Speech Preparation: Carefully prepare your script, become familiar with the key points, and rehearse thoroughly.
  • Vocal Control: Pay attention to variations in your pace, intonation, and volume to make your speech more engaging and impactful.
  • Body Language: Use appropriate gestures and eye contact to strengthen your connection with the audience.
  • Improvisation: Stay calm and confident, and learn to handle unexpected situations flexibly.

Knowledge Base and Practical Experience

Adaptability:

  • On-the-spot Performance: Train your ability to respond quickly to unexpected situations. Be witty, adapt flexibly, and turn surprises into program highlights.
